ATA Expands and Upgrades Instrument Workshops

The Academy of Technical Training (ATA) has announced a major transformation of its Instrument workshops, which provide hands-on training in various aspects of process instruments. The workshops have been increased from three to five, allowing the Academy to accommodate a larger number of trainees seeking training in instrument discipline.

The ATA has also invested in cutting-edge calibration equipment that meets the latest industry standards and benchmarks, guaranteeing accurate and precise measurements for its trainees. The equipment enables the trainees to learn how to test, calibrate, and maintain instruments, which are essential skills for ensuring the reliability of plants and the superior quality of products.

The new workshops have been fully operational since April 2024, and they have a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for instrument training. The workshops are equipped with state-of-the-art software, which not only enhances efficiency but also enables the generation of paperless reports.

The expansion of the workshops is a strategic response to the significant increase in trainee enrolment, particularly in instrument discipline. The ATA's VP, Academic Service, Abdulrahman Al Mulla said: "We are proud of our enhanced instrument workshops, which are designed to meet the evolving needs of our trainees and ensure they receive the best possible training in instrument-related disciplines. The Academy is committed to maintaining our reputation for excellence and staying at the forefront of technical training."
