Have you ever wondered what happens to your old electronics when you're done with them? Do they sit unused in a drawer, or do you throw them away? If you throw them away, have you ever thought about where they go next?
The ATA Trainees recently visited the Ecyclex Recycling Facility in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. This facility, established in 2012, is a leading provider of ethical recycling solutions in the UAE. During their visit, trainees gained firsthand experience in the e-waste recycling process, including disassembling electronics and separating components. This experience highlighted the importance of responsible recycling practices and aligned with ADNOC's commitment to sustainability. Ecyclex offers a viable solution for individuals looking to dispose of old electronics responsibly, with incentives available through their RePool application. Overall, the trainees' visit highlighted the importance of responsible recycling in saving the environment for future generations.
