This year, ATA proudly participated in ADNOC Safety Day under the theme "Innovate. Safety." The event highlights ADNOC's commitment to continuously enhancing safety practices by leveraging AI solutions and machine learning to proactively protect our workforce, minimize risks, and ensure rapid responses through intelligent monitoring ATA trainees demonstrated one of the new technologies - Virtual Reality (VR) technology designed for training, focusing on the 10 Life-Saving Rules. This immersive device allows trainees to explore and learn essential safety guidelines interactively.
During the event, trainees engaged with H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber and representatives from various ADNOC group companies, presenting the VR training program. This experience simulates hazardous situations, requiring trainees to react appropriately, thus enhancing their readiness for real-world scenarios.
Currently, we are in the early stages of this initiative, focusing on Life Safety Rules (LSR), with plans to expand the modules to include process safety fundamentals in the future. Since its launch in December 2023, we have conducted over 2,000 VR sessions, providing trainees with immersive and comprehensive insights into the Life-Saving Rules.
