Overview

Founded in 1978, ADNOC Technical Academy (ATA) is ADNOC's dedicated institution for developing technical talent and advancing workforce capability across the energy sector. As a core expression of ADNOC's long-standing commitment to building national expertise, ATA has spent over four decades preparing generations of professionals who drive the operations, safety, and growth of one of the world's most critical industries.

ATA's learning approach combines immersive hands-on training, AI-enabled learning methods, advanced simulation technologies, and industry-aligned instruction — delivered through DCS simulation centers, pilot training plants, and a purpose-built campus with state-of-the-art facilities.

ATA serves diverse learners across the energy sector through its three core programs:

  • Technical Training Program: A comprehensive two-year vocational program developing young Emiratis with the skills and competencies required for front-line roles across ADNOC Group operations. Graduates earn internationally accredited qualifications across four key oil and gas disciplines.
  • HSE Contractor Academy: Equipping contractors operating across ADNOC sites with the safety competencies and certifications required to perform in high-risk energy environments.
  • Specialized Short Courses: Targeted technical learning solutions for industry professionals looking to strengthen or expand their operational expertise.

With a sustainable legacy of excellence and a continuous commitment to innovation and advanced learning methods, ATA serves one goal: building a qualified technical workforce capable of supporting the UAE's industrial growth and advancing the future of its energy sector.
